Making magic

There are not many things that can rival our Children's Museum, the Magic House just happens to be one of those things. We got to go there with our terrific new friend Teagan.

Instead of a stairway to get to the different floors, there is a giant beanstalk shaped climbing apparatus. It goes all the way up to the top of the tallest turret on the house.

Getting from floor to floor was a bit more challenging, but way more fun.

Identity quiz: Who is this pushing his head and hands through the pin-board?

There are also lots of different musical instruments. Check out this giant wheel with metal tubes strapped inside it. When you spin the wheel and hold the mallet against the tubes, it makes really cool clinking sounds.

There's a grocery store there like the one at our Children's Museum. Ours is a little bigger, but this one has cash registers that are easier to use. Teagan loved selling groceries to everyone.

We spent lots of hours there and when it came time to say goodbye, we gave our new friend giant hugs.
