Minds blown

Perhaps one of the most amazing things on the planet (Aunt Corrie knows what we're talking about, this place changed her life) is Kaleidoscope.

Before you can enter, be sure to get your tickets.

Even standing in line is pretty cool.

Once inside, everywhere you turn is something pretty awesome.

There are all kings of projects to make.

We loved it so much, we went twice. The first time, Cousin Kendall came with us. We made puzzles together, among other things.

After painting the puzzle, it needed to be dried before going to the puzzle cutter.

By turning the giant wheel, our artwork became an instant puzzle. Awesome.

All the awesomeness takes its toll. Uncle Toddo needed a break at one point. Just check out that couch.

Before heading home, the paints and markers and other mind blowing residue needs to be removed just in case. Keeping with the theme, even the sink will blow your mind.

Running, always running

Have we mentioned how much we love visiting Kansas City? We're so excited to be there that we run everywhere we go. Kinsey is more than happy to run with us.

Places to go, things to see

There are always lots of places to go when we visit Kansas City. This was our first time in Union Station. What an amazing building.

We went there for Science City, a very cool place. We discovered all kinds of cool instruments . . .

. . . and some great tricks with magnets.

There was also and awesome giant maze right on the floor. It was really tricky to solve.

Ahhhhhhh hotel life

Staying in a hotel, or "the sleeping place", is pretty awesome. Different beds are lots of fun . . .

. . . but if "the sleeping place" has a pool, we won't spend much time in the bed.

And if Fritz's is nearby, we'll be there, probably twice.

And if there's access to flying chocolate fudge, even fewer reasons to stay in bed. That was one of the most amazing things we've ever seen . . .

. . . and tasted.

And throw in a birthday cake for Daddy, Uncle Toddo, Aunt Carrie, Cousin Kinsey and Cousin Jeremy and we definitely won't be found in the bed at "the sleeping place".

Reacquainted

After finally getting to Kansas City, we got reacquainted with our family. Awesome Aunt Lori and crazy Cousin Kendall are at the bottom of the pile.

Cousin Kendall is great. She likes playing all kinds of silly games with us.

Speaking of games, Aunt Jen-Jen has lots of them on lots of phones and former phones.

Did we mention Awesome Aunt Lori? She tick-tocks us all the time.

Guys day out

We had a great afternoon today, hanging out with each other and our friends Jackson and Miles.

We went to an awesome indoor park and just went nuts.

Jackson and Miles did too.

It was packed though. The workers said it was the busiest they'd every seen it.

Total chaos. It was awesome.

We learned how to ride the hand bikes . . .

. . . and pushed each other in the chairs on wheels.

Afterward, we went to dinner and "played" video games while we waited for our food. It was a fantastic afternoon. We'll have to do it again soon.

Two parties . . .

. . . in one weekend. Awesome. On Sunday evening, we had many of our ECFE friends over for a little reunion. We had no idea that many twins could fit in our beds . . .

. . . or around our table decorating cookies . . .

. . . or around our television watching silly videos.

On Saturday morning, we had the MOMs winter party. We learned how to do a prize walk . . .

. . . and choosing a prize was easy.

We also made our own bells.

There were all kinds of things to choose from to decorate the outside . . .

. . . but really, all the matters is how it rings.
