Yes, we're wearing our church clothes. Yes, we probably shouldn't be doing this in these clothes.
Couch time
Couches are good for more than just sitting or laying. You can even do more than jump off them.
House of Bland

If anyone wants to open a restaurant that serves bland food, we can be your supplier.
Seriously, check out all this bland food and this isn't even all of it.
Making rain

Apparently Daddy's been wanting it to rain to water the grass. Far be it from us to keep it from him.
The other day, Daddy got out the hose to do a little watering. We thought we'd lend a hand.
We were sure to spread it evenly throughout the yard.
There was only a little collateral damage.
Hungry and loud
but not at the same time. This is from our visit to the "farm" in Kansas over Easter. It was weird letting the sheep eat out of our hands, and really easy to make A LOT of noise with the bells.
Sing songs . . . be silly
Singing songs is good. Being silly is better.
Fortunes revealed

We had Chinese food delivered right to our door the other night for dinner. How convenient. Anyway, they gave us these special cookies with little saying called "fortunes" inside.
Here are out fortunes . . .
Jax -- You are far more influential than you think.
Charley -- A job well begun is half done.
We want a do-over.

We can run . . .

. . . and we can try to hide . . .
. . . but no matter how hard we try . . .
. . . Daddy always finds us . . .
. . . always.

Sitting

Despite its awkward and cold appearance, this giant galvanized bucket was quite comfortable.
It was no match for our chairs, however. Isn't it great to just sit and watch the world go by sometimes?
Grace
This is definitely not Vatican approved, but we do what we can.
Long walks on the beach

Put it in our profile, we love 'em. We went to one today after dropping Mommy's car off to get fixed.
In addition to walking/running on the beach and shore, we collected rocks to throw into the water.
We're getting some pretty good distance these days.
Check out how cool the sand looks under the water.
It was so fun, we could've stayed there all day.
Morning sun

It was a beautifully sunny day, Wednesday, but the winds made a little more chilly than it looks. There's a park near the beach we were on so we did some climbing . . .
. . . and a little jumping, too.
Mad Hatters

We weren't really mad. We got to wear these "mad" hats though at our tea party this morning.
We had some mad crumpets (chocolate cake) too. "Mad" is just a slang word for awesome.
Stop, lick and roll

We met a new friend at the park. Her name is Ellie and she was VERY friendly.
When it was time to leave, we did a little rolling down the hill.
Whoa Menards

We went to Menards the other day with Daddy. We were stopped in our tracks by the water fountain display. It was amazing and very difficult to keep from touching them.

Parkin' it

It's that time of year again. We're spending lots of time at the park these days. We getting REALLY good at climbing all the different kinds of ladders the parks we go to have.
Then there's the slides. The curly ones and the tunnel ones are the best. This one is both. Awesome.

Skipping stones

We went to a great new park the yesterday. Of course there was a playground, but there was also this great dock that went out into a lake. We found some rocks and spent LOTS of time throwing the rocks into the water. Daddy tried to teach us to "skip" them, but it's not as easy as you think.
It was great fun. The rock were all the way at one end so we went back and forth along the dock.
We found the best spot we could and tossed them in.
They just disappeared. It was amazing.
So amazing that we did it over and over again.
Painting with trucks

You read that right. We got to paint a huge picture using our trucks as paint brushes.
How does it work you ask? You just put the truck's wheels in the paint and roll the trucks on the paper.
We were also to use out fingers in the paint. It was really gooey and slimy.
Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
So here's our nearly finished work. What do you think?

Tough choice

Sometimes there are just so many toys, it's hard to decide which one to play with first. We sometimes seek additional consultation but Hairy "runs" our advisory department.
Hide 'n' seek

We played our first game of hide and seek the other day. Daddy was really good at hiding . . .
. . . but he kept hiding in different places.
We usually found him eventually (after a couple hints) . . .
. . . and when we did, we got tackled and tickled. Remind us why we found him again?
Trains and sharks

We're big into trains right now. This is our new train set that we got for Easter . . .
. . . and just the other day we went to a special train show where we got to play with a bunch of Thomas train sets. We even got some Thomas engines of our very own.
The train show happened to be at the same place as the aquarium so we took a spin through there too and looked at all the sharks. So what's cooler, trains or sharks? We can't decide.
Growth

We've been checking on our little project almost everyday. We're starting to see some little green things poke out from the dirt. We're still not sure food will come from these tiny plants.
We're being very careful to keep the soil moist, but not wet.
