Sometimes laughing is all you can do when things just don't seem to be going your way.
Our first photos

Daddy brought a camera home this weekend and he let us play with it a little. He showed us which button to push and these are the results.
We took lots of pictures of each other. Most of them didn't turn out, but these are two that did and we think they're pretty good.
Here's a look at the process. Daddy kept a VERY close eye on us.

When animals attack

It happened without warning . . .
. . . the bear and the lion came out of nowhere.
We fought our way through it . . .
. . . eventually gained the upper hand . . .
. . . and finally used them as a pillow as we caught our breath.

Why you ask?
No privacy
Obscured vision
Can someone please help get this stringy stuff out of my eyes. I'm getting really tired of having to look through it all the time.

Quality time

We're becoming pretty good buds with Hairy. He can be kinda scary sometimes when he barks, but we know he's a good doggie.

Water, water everywhere

We're not really sure what got into Mommy the other day.
She filled a tub with water and brought it into the living room. It was crazy and you can probably guess how it went.
We had so much fun splashing, playing and trying to tip over the tub. We kind of got a little wet too.

Peek-a-boo Grandma

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit awhile ago. We had all kinds of fun playing peek-a-boo.
We climbed all over the slide too.
Hidden no longer

We finally found it. We knew there was a place where all the food was kept. Mommy and Daddy had a good run, but it's all over now.
Ketchup - imagine the damage we can do with this.

All take a bow
A dog tale

We tried to read Hairy a story today. We started with "What's Wrong Little Pookie?" because we thought he looked a little down.
Then we tried "Goodnight Moon" because maybe he was just tired.
That might have worked, he may have fallen asleep at one point.
All you need is love . . .

. . . and some heart-shaped Jello Jigglers and cookies for breakfast.
Right now we're not so sure about these weird wiggly things, but we'll come to enjoy Valentine's Day when we discover the true joy of Jello.
Caught . . . Red socked

We're not supposed to take our socks off. We get really cold feet when we do that. We really need to learn to survey the area before we do something illegal.
Once caught though, it's always best to fess up. The punishment is much less severe.

Scheduled Maintenance

In order to keep our vehicles running in tip-top shape, we need to perform scheduled maintenance. Oil change, tire rotation, maybe some spark plugs and fluid replacement as needed. It can be a dirty job, but we start to notice poor performance when we fall behind.
The preferred floor
The right book

Finding just the right book takes patience. It's not always right on top.
When you find it, though, it's worth the wait.

More from our trip

We had so much in that window at the restaurant we went to after the baptism. We said "hi" to everyone we saw, like Uncle Toddo.
Sometimes we gave them a kiss through the window too.
We even said "hi" and gave kisses to people we didn't know.
One night we ordered take-out for dinner. We ordered so much that it came in this giant bag that we could fit in. So of course Mommy and Daddy put us in there one at a time and carried us around the room.
There was also this great cupboard at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We could crawl in there and stand up once we got inside.
Belated Birthday
Sorry these took so long to post, we've been a little busy lately. Here are some photos from Daddy's "surprise" birthday party that Mommy threw.
Despite Daddy ruining the surprise by forgetting his wallet and coming home early, ruining the surprise (Mommy did give him a wallet with a chain on it on his actual birthday), Mommy still at least pretended to like him.
This was about as surprised as Daddy looked when he walked in the front door the SECOND time.
Lots of Daddy's friends came. They fed us lots of snacks all night. It was still a great party even though Daddy ruined the surprise.
