Picnic at the park

All that playing made us REALLY hungry - Grandma too.

So hungry in fact, we couldn't wait for each other to finish.

Destined for the circus

There's nothing quite like flying through the air. Daddy is really good at getting us really high in the air. We tell him to do it again and again and again. He hasn't dropped us yet.

Getting bigger and bigger

So we started small, going head-first . . .

. . . and on our bottoms.

Then we gave the big tall circular-slide a try. On our bottoms . . .

. . . and head-first. We weren't to sure at first, but we got used to it.

Fun with JenJen

Aunt Jenny was there too. She helped us with these weird steps . . .

. . . and with this bouncey-thing.

Walk in the park

While we were at the park, we took some time out to go for a walk.

Our new friend AnneHelene went with us for a little while.

Good gas mileage

This little car is great. It gets amazing gas mileage.

It's a little cramped though.

We pretty much stuck with one in the car and one pushing.

The ride was pretty nice . . .

. . . but the push was much better.

Another nice day

It was nice again today, so much better than the snow and cold back home. We rode on a tricycle . . .

. . . and got a ride in a wagon with our new friend Christopher. His dad Craig pulled us all around the neighborhood.

It's a sunny, sunny day

We went to the park and played.

We climbed up all the stairs.

We looked through the windows . . .

. . . and we opened all the doors.

We raced all over that playground. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Monica kept things in order.

The reason for our trip

Apparently, our cousin Kendall needed bath. They called it a Baptism, but there was a lot of water involved.

After the bath . . . er Baptism . . . we went for a snack,

and a quick run through the hallways.

We ate watermelon . . .

. . . lots of watermelon.

Then we went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. There were a lot of cool windows and shades to play with there.

It was a pretty exhausting day, especially for Kendall.

Hanging out with Kendall

We love Kendall, our new cousin, but she doesn't really do very much. And man, she sure gets cranky when she doesn't eat, we never do that (note the thick sarcasm).

A new way to make noise

How great is this piano thing? All we have to do is bang on it and makes all kinds of noise.

See . . . Bang bang, bang bang. It's never-ending fun!

CharleyJax Live

video
Our first performance. It's no Mozart, but we're getting there.

Kendall = Baby

Which means soft touches. She makes funny noises and funny faces too.

She smiles a lot too, especially when we touch her head.

DODIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She came! It's so exciting to have Dodie here. Like a great grandparent should, she brought us gifts from her and Grandma Cathy. Look at all this loot.

She's just so much fun. We played with the new stuffed animals she brought . . .

. . . and read stories. Maybe she can visit us at home sometime.

Eggs anyone?

Can someone tell me how to use this thing? I could use a hand getting it the stove too.

Thanks Kinsey . . .

. . . for giving us a hand with our hands. These slimy noodles get awefully messy.

Riding the walkway

During all our free time while waiting for our delayed plane, we checked out the aiport. We even learned all about the motorized walkway.

It took a little while building up the courage to walk on it, but once we did, we were cruising. Especially Jax. As soon as Jax was done on one side, we turned around and went back down the other.

Wasting time

Our flight was delayed for two hours. We ended up spending more time at the airport than we did on the actual plane.

Energy release

We needed it. How can anyone expect us to sit still for more than two hours?

Driving Ms. Baggage Car

So it wasn't the real baggage car, just a fake one in the kiddy play area.

That's OK, though, we could still spin and shake the steering wheel.

Leaving on a jet plane

Here we are, arriving at the airport. We rode along these moving walkways, very weird.

At the leat the ride was comfortable.

Oh, hello

How'd you find me? Now get that camera out of here, I have sliding to do.

Nothing like sliding in the living room

Sometimes there's a bit of a traffic jam at the top.

We're getting pretty good at going down.

We can go on our bottoms, head first, or feet first on our tummies.

It's hard work though, we often need a water break.

The landing is the best part.

Just watch out, or you'll get run over.
