Speaking our mind

The boys are soaking up everything as we take our little road trip...

Two funny things from this evening (not for the weak of stomach):
- Charley was getting out of the tub, and decided that it was time to empty his bowels for the day... As I freaked out... and tossed him out of the tub to Jason... Jax moves towards the results saying "Cookie! I want cookie!" Ewwwwwwwww!
- Then, as we're putting them to bed, we sing them "You are my sunshine" every night and nap. All of a sudden, we realize Charley is singing along word for word!! (even holding some notes) I'd noticed he'd been mumbling more during "nuggie" time, but I had no idea he's been singing!!

Other highlights from our trip:
- They now say "bye-bye everybody" when we leave places-- thanks to the large gathering at my Grandma's over the weekend
- Jax has a special treat for Simpson's fans... we'll have to reveal that one in video on the blog though-- as soon as we capture it.
- Charley discovered putting his fingers in his ears to change the sound. He thinks that's pretty funny.
- Charley has also discovered the joy of going down just about any slide he faces. He's hit the deck pretty hard at the bottom a few times, but just goes back up for more.
- Jax is saying sentences... of ridiculous lengths... but he gets so excited by the time he gets to word two or three that he has a hard time getting it out.
- And possibly most importantly, we've learned that both Wildcats and Jayhawks are "blech! yucky!"
