Looking out over downtown, from high atop the Children's Museum, there is so much beyond our little gated community. Where to begin?
It's a BIG, BIG world

Bubbles?

What are these things? They're not exactly like the bubbles in our tub.
We'll have to continue to investigate. We'll get back to you.

best bath EVER!

All this room to roam in the big tub - wish we knew about this LONG ago!
We can play together and stand up on the edge, being careful of course not to slip and fall.
We have market cornered on ducks, they just all seemed to end up on Charley's end.
"So what do you think about this new bathing thing?"
"It's pretty cool, but don't let on too much"
"Of course, we wouldn't want Mommy and Daddy to think they can just stick us here whenever they want."
"Yes, of course."

Nighttime Ritual

It may not look like it, but this is what happens right before bed. We read "Goodnight Moon," say our prayers, sing a few songs and go to bed . . . sometimes.
A birthday party! We want one!

We went to a first birthday party for our friends Shivani and Shashank. We had good time with them while meeting many new friends.
Shashank (really his dad Naveen) blew out the candle on his birthday cake.
Then they were sung to, it looked like they were having a great time.
We were too, the party hats sure were tasty. Really though, how can we be expected to wear party hats when we already have a hat on?
That's more like it. We're on the move with Shashank.
BALLOONS!!! Love 'em. Soft, floaty and great to chase around the yard.
The Epic Battle for Carl (the carrot)

Jax starts with Carl, Charley makes his move . . .
. . . Success for Charley, but only for a moment as Jax moves in . . .
. . . Victory for Jax, sorrow for Charley . . .
. . . Charley makes a valiant comeback, a tug-of-war ensues . . .
. . . Charley attempts the pile-on method while continuing his hold . . .
. . . This battle grows tiresome for Jax, "Moo Ba La La La" has more appeal, but not for Charley as he scoops up Carl.
